TRIAD BROADCASTING TO ACQUIRE LEADING PEORIA FMS
Adds WXCL and
WDQX to Illinois Cluster
Monterey, CA and Peoria,
IL: Triad Broadcasting Company today signed an agreement
to acquire Peorias Country WXCL 104.9 and Classic Hits
WDQX 102.3 from AAA Entertainment. The purchase price
was not disclosed.
Triad adds the two stations to an already strong Peoria
cluster that includes three of the markets top four
rated stations: Mainstream AC WSWT, News-Talk WMBD and
Oldies WPBG. Triad also owns WIRL Classic Country.
