Mike Wild, Senior VP/Market Manager

Mike Wild is Senior Vice President of Triad Broadcasting Company, and runs Triad’s day-to-day operations at Triad’s top market in Peoria, Illinois, as General Manager of JMP Radio Group, LLC (Triad’s Peoria subsidiary). He also oversees 14 other stations in other Triad markets, based primarily in the Midwest.

He previously was President and Chief Operating Officer of JMP Media, LLC in Peoria, Illinois, a four-station cluster that he co-founded in 1999. Triad purchased the Peoria operations from JMP Media in 2003. JMP Radio Group is the top radio group in the Peoria area in revenue and listenership ratings.

At 46-years-old, Mr. Wild is a 30-year veteran of the broadcast industry. Beyond his radio cluster management experience, he also has managed three Big Ten sports radio networks – Indiana, Purdue, and Illinois. For 11 years, while also managing stations and/or networks, he broadcast Purdue Boilermaker football and basketball games on the statewide Purdue Sports Radio Network, and was honored several times with “Best Play-by-Play” and “Best Sportscasting” awards from the Indiana Associated Press and United Press International.

He is the former Chairman of the Board of the Illinois Broadcasters Association and is involved in numerous boards and charitable organizations in his home market of Peoria.
